The monster slaying saga continues next year with the announcement of Monster Hunter World.

The Capcom game was shown during Sony’s E3 Press Showcase.

Coming to Sony Playstation 4, Microsoft Xbox One, and PC, the trailer showed off a vast world populated by monstrous dinosaurs big and small.

As monster hunters, players can work together to slay the fearsome beasts. Slain creatures give valuable monster parts that players use to craft new weapons and armor.

The series is a huge success overseas, and has seen some increased sales in North America.

The game releases in early 2018.
